Tools that you must use on WINDOWS

No story, just a list that gets updated frequently

Okay, just a little heads up. This is going to be a list that I will update whenever I get a product, use it till the point that I come back to it again and again and it kind of turns into a part of my life. And also a little bit on how I use it.
If it has too many things then I will create a post about it which will be linked here.

1. Notion

There is no doubt that it has to be here. Notion is an essential tool when it comes to note making (the kind of notes that you don’t want to lose).

2. Google Drive — for desktop

It was already a life saver when you had important documents, but now using the desktop app will ensure that you won’t miss out on anything even if you are offline.

To top that, you won’t even need to upload your data manually, just put it in the correct folder in your drive root directory via the File Explorer built into Windows. The integration works seamlessly.

3. F.lux

Head over to justgetflux.com and download it before reading next. It’s highly recommended.

f.lux® software to make your life better

This is an app which will help you to get to bed faster. Don’t mistake it for any other reading mode as you get on android or windows. This thing actually makes your screen lose its blue light in phases as you get nearer to your bedtime.

And to top that, it gives you subtle notifications about how you will get sleep time of 6 hours. (Say, you set the time for waking up at 5:00 a.m., and the time right now is 11:00 p.m.)

4. Flow.Launcher

This one is probably Gold, its not like any other MacOS spotlight clones. It actually works and it is fast. Fast enough to make you think that its a “Windows Default” feature.

You can also add plugins that will give you additional functionality and if you are one of the programmers, you will be able to create your own scripts using python. I haven’t tried it out yet, but I am sure it’s possible.
